Every Dana 15040S R3.90 differential is remanufactured following a rigorous standardized process that utilizes new Dana spec components such as bearings, thrust washers, snap rings, and shims. Ring carriers are checked for run out and all ring gears are dismounted and reinstalled with a new bolt kit. All bearing bores are checked against factory tolerances.
